TBH, they are not the kind of sites that I would opt for, being too big, too many add-ons that I won't use, and more importantly, too many critters and ankle biters.
Each to their own and all that, of course.

Yes indeed it did! We always use screw-in pegs these days as a first choice. We don't usually use hardstandings if we don't have to but I have still encountered some very hard ground, and I have bent a few pegs trying to put up my awning. The one time we did use a hardstanding because we had no choice, we were only staying a few days so we had left the awning at home anyway.
I have a retractable canopy on the van, and have not planned to use a driveaway awning as I don't want to put one up.
I included most of stronger hook pegs in stainless steel from Delta Ground Anchors along with most of the Delta Pegs when I sold my tents.
However, I kept the Delta rocks and T-bar rock pegs along with some of the Delta pegs and SS hook pegs for use with the canopies that I have kept, as they are very handy as shelters for outdoor events.
Besides, their SS items are beautifully made and I do not have the heart to part with them just yet!
