can someone tell me if you do enter a competition and happen to ever win, how are you notified.,

All winners are posted on the threads that are started when the competitions are launched and all winners are emailed.

Sorry Ratty I didnt get any notification by email, I won quite a few months ago, the company offering the prize apparently had problems and didnt get the prize to me me til two months later !.  Any way to sum up to you both, who cares ! I entered the comps on this site as we all do, i didnt get any email therefore I didnt win, so be it.  Two months after closing date date Mr postie wakes me up at 7am with great big parcel " I'm not expecting anything, are you sure,...... ok I will sign for it thanks, tara...........WHOA ! .....a great bundle of goodies thanks to Ukcampsite, and even a bonus gift as an appology for the long wait after the competion (that remember, I didnt think I won ! )   Brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

So the moral is, people do win, keep entering. and if you dont win, try again and again, and like me you may be lucky and win when you have lost, ifthat make sense.  Great site, great info, great forums, great competitions, GREAT BRITAIN FOR CAMPING, thanks all.

All winners are sent an email, therefore you would have been sent an email, everybody is sent an email if they win.  If you did not receive it , the chances are your spam or junk filters would have picked it up and you would then not have seen it

In fact, if I am correct, you won a Kitchen Larder set from World of Camping in May 2008.  You were emailed at 11:27 on 26th June 2008.

I have been informed by email that I'd won a competition recently. After replying to email I got another email from ukcampsite letting me know prize will be on its way soon.

So it does work

My 3 OS Explorer Maps - Active arrived today. Really chuffed with them.
