The Camping and Caravanning Club has made it even simpler and more rewarding for campers to book their next holiday adventure with a price reduction on a number of its 110 Club Sites.
Members can book their 2014 camping trips from 8am on Thursday, November 7 via the Club’s website and Contact Centre. The Club has listened to members and responded to recent economic uncertainty and unpredictable weather, by making a number of pricing modifications.
The Club has made it easier to compare site prices by moving them to a simple insert in the 2014 edition of its popular guide - Your Place in the Country – whilst the latest and most competitive prices can be found online here
For 2014, over 35 sites have a lower member adult price in high season, some 31 in mid-season and over 55 in low season, whilst more than 30 sites have a lower family price in mid-season and 20 in high season, such as Alton, the Star - over £7 cheaper as well as Scarborough and West Runton - £4.50 cheaper.
Other changes include an improved online booking process, improved family deals, children will always be half the price of adults, 25% discount for Age Concession members* in selected seasons as well as a new 30-day cancellation policy+.
A new Great Value stamp (attached) has also been introduced online which will help campers get away for even less!
Robert Louden MBE, the Club’s Director General, said: “We continue to operate in a highly competitive environment and that’s why we must adapt to the changing trading conditions – we can’t always rely on the weather despite a good summer this year!
“Flexibility of price and a fairer cancellation policy for all, together with a great digital experience, making it easier to search and book online, we believe are the essentials that will ensure that both members and non-members can enjoy the benefits of the Club Site network for many years to come.”
Loch Ness Shores Club Site officially opened for business on July 12, and this new addition, together with its on-going network development programme, continue to strengthen the Club’s campsite portfolio as the organisation looks to offer members and non-members alike, a high standard of campsite at an affordable price in parts of the county they are keen to visit.
Robert added: “It’s a win-win. Members get cost-effective camping at prices they are happy with, whilst a busier site network allows the Club to reinvest more money back into better facilities and services for members. We believe this is an industry-leading change in delivering value to members.
“These are exciting times for the Club and through our new pricing approach we hope to offer members fair value for money, increase occupancy and as a result build the community spirit on Club Sites.”
