Outwell Starhill 5A is Tent of the Year 2023
The UK’s leading magazine for tent campers has declared the Outwell Starhill 5A its Tent of the Year in its Camping Awards 2023. The tent also took top spot in the award's Best Small Family Tent category.
Editor, Iain Duff says: “Inflatable tents have done more than anything else to drive the growth in camping in recent years. The only caveat is that they have always been rather expensive, compared to traditional pole construction. But with the new Starhill range, Outwell is doing something to address that issue. You'll pay a maximum of £810 for the Starhill 5A, and probably much less. That's a fair bit less than similar models in the Outwell collection, but, importantly, without any significant reduction in quality.
“With such an attractive price tag, it's going to make Outwell's inflatable tents far more accessible to a wider range of people. The Starhill 5A is brilliant for smaller families, providing most of the features you'd expect from a top-quality family tent from a top-quality brand. With the air poles on the outside to maximise internal headroom, there is definitely something very ‘Marmitey’ about its appearance. It's very different and one of those things you either like or you don't... and we do!”
