"thousands of Brits are abondoning holidays for old-fashioned camping and caravanning trips at home. Terrorist scares, last month's good weather prompted a rush to get under canvas. but foreign tour operators are reporting one of their worst seasons. Bourne Leisure, which runs Haven and British Holidays' parks, said it had 6000 more families booked in this year."

Hmmm methinks I see an opening here, I can get 4 tents in the back garden, One Porta loo and a watering can on a string for a shower, but no EHU. Thats £40 a night x 7 = £280 a week. Allow for the pre and post season campers over 20 weeks =£5600. loadsalolly
as prevoiusly stated bargains galore on carboots school fairs etc cant wait it'll be like watching a carry on film with all the newbies putting up tents etc asking the silly questions like where do i plug my hairdrier in doesnt effct me i have no hair
andy
ps cosycamper dont forget to charge for the extra milk as for ehu run a extension lead out extra £2 pn per tent oh yes an pay the tax on it cos mr tax man is watchin all the time der b****r
Perhaps that explains the apparent increase in bad behaviour (reading many posts in here lately). Rightly or wrongly, the brits don't have a good reputation in the foreign holiday resorts.
