Description:
We all love the Erde 122 type trailers. They are light, easy to tow & store & really tick all the boxs for a camping trailer.
Their one drawback is the original stub axle with its 10mm thread which is easily damaged.
The latest offering from Hubbard Consulting improves on this weakness with custom replacement weld in stub axles.
So what do you get with a custom stub axle?
A pair of high quality custom designed stub axle with close tolerance bearing diameters, a flanged outer end to ensure alignment with the suspension arm, & most importantly a larger single point cut thread right up to the shoulder, provided with a washer & new nylok nut.
Furthermore, they allow greasing of the bearings via a grease nipple at the back of the stub axle, Simple remove both seals on the outer bearing & the inner seal on the inner bearing.
They can be used with the standard Erde hubs & dust caps.
Treated with care these stub axles will outlast the trailer.
They will fit the following Erde trailers 100/101/102/107/120/121/122/127/132, Daxara 107/127 & the PM310 motorcycle trailer.
The price quoted is for a pair of stubs axles including postage. Single stub axles available on request.
