Andrewshayes Holiday Park are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated and active couple to join our small team on a long-term basis as wardens. Seasonal role starting end of February 2025 until mid November.
The successful applicants must have excellent people/communication skills, a positive, flexible ‘can do` attitude with a friendly outgoing personality and a high standard of customer care.
A key part of the role will be cleaning of caravans and park facilities, therefore a high standard of cleaning is essential. As a couple, office skills, DIY/maintenance knowledge.
Some caravan knowledge and towing experience is required for towing out of storage and siting onto pitches (current UK driving licence essential for at least one applicant in each couple).
The work will also include reception/shop and some office duties (computerised booking system Prophet is used, basic IT skills are essential), cleaning of amenity blocks and holiday homes, groundwork and maintenance, swimming pool & hot tub maintenance, meeting and greeting arrivals, evening on-call (shared with other wardens), pitching caravans and dealing with any customer queries.
You must be able to work on your own initiative, be part of a team and be prepared to ‘muck in` when needed.
Previous park warden experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
It is a five-day working week with 2 consecutive days off. It will include weekends and bank holidays. Hours are approximately 42 hours per week.
The accommodation is a 2 bedroom Wardens Lodge on the park which includes gas, electric and free laundry. Rent £35 pp/per week.
Andrewshayes Holiday Park is a family run 4-star holiday park located in beautiful east Devon countryside with 90 static caravans, 110 seasonal pitches and 40 touring pitches. There is an indoor swimming pool and a bar and takeaway on site. We are located 3 miles west of Axminster and approximately 6 miles inland.
