The Harrogate Caravan Park is a very special place and we are looking for a very special couple to be our Wardens to run the 2022 season.
Located on the outskirts of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, the Harrogate Caravan Park (www.harrogatecaravanpark.co.uk) is a well-established and well-reviewed 67 pitch touring site for motorhomes, caravans and tents. The roles start in late February, the site opens in March and runs through to end of October 2022. These roles are seasonal self-employed positions.
Duties include:-
• Processing bookings using an on-line booking system (the system we use is Anytime; training on this system will be given).
• Promptly and efficiently dealing with enquires by phone and email
• Handling payments and doing basic bookkeeping
• Welcoming guests and ensuring they are well looked after
• Regular cleaning of toilet and shower facilities
• General maintenance, keeping the park in tip top order at all times
• Grounds/pitch maintenance, including grass/hedge cutting, leaf collecting etc
• Liaising with the wider team on the Great Yorkshire Showground
Hours will vary occasionally, but predominantly be from Wednesday to Sunday to include 4 nights on call whilst on site.
Applicants must be fit and able to perform all duties.
This is a hands-on roles and the successful applicants will need to liaise closely with the deputy wardens and our customers; a friendly, upbeat and approachable manner is essential. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage although not absolutely essential as we are fully prepared to coach and train you into the role. Alongside your enthusiasm for this role you will have the following skills/aptitude:

The Wardens live in a static caravan on site for the season
