Its made up of camping and touring, seasonal pitches, Log cabins and Glamping pods, set on farm land with an emphasis on relaxed peaceful holidays. .
We`re looking for an extraordinary couple who will join a warden team from March until the end of October 2025. We seek a relaxed and outgoing couple with a lovely sense of humour who will fit into our wonderful team here at East Crinnis. This role suits a retired couple wanting to be in a lovely part of sunny Cornwall but still wanting to have a work interest.
The wardens work on a duty rota and will be responsible for the visitor experience/duty management on site every day. The role is primarily to provide exceptional customer service, friendly informative welcomes, answer questions and queries and trouble shoot problems that might arise throughout all areas of the site. As wardens it will be necessary to support other areas like housekeeping and garedening if needed. There will be lots of time off as well within the role so plenty of time to enjoy Cornwall and the surrounding parts of St Austell Bay.
We are potentially looking for one of the couple (or shared) to take on the responsibility of some duty shifts in our site reception/shop/takeaway for approx 3 shifts a week (more in peak summer optional). This is not essential but a good way of boasting an income for more full time work.
This is a shared role and will be working with another warden couple on a rota basis through the quieter times of the year and also working together in the busier summer months and peak season. We are ideally looking for a couple who want to join a relaxed, family friendly campsite with a passion for delivering amazing service and going the extra mile for guests needs. Gardening or general maintenence skills are also handy.
Accommodation/pay
The wardens receive a free seasonal pitch for a 12 month period which includes winter storage from March 2025 with free 16 amp electric hook up. You will also receive free use of the laundry facility and unlimited Wi-Fi and meals when on duty. A monthly contribution will be paid of approx £1000pcm and additional shop pay will be paid at £12.50 p/h
