We are an AA 5 Pennant Platinum Award, family run, countryside park between Newquay and St Ives. Close to north coast beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan. We are open all year for tourers/motorhomes, with luxury static caravans also available to hire. Our friendly team work hard to keep the park to a high quality standard, of which we are very proud. We have a bar/restaurant open during peak periods. We offer holidays primarily to couples and families.
Job Vacancy: Head Groundsperson
Duration: Permanent post
It is important to us to find the right person to join our team to assist with the day to day running of the park. This is a great job opportunity on our beautiful park if you are friendly, hard working and conscientious.
Our philosophy is to offer a top quality, friendly service to our guests, with a high standard of cleanliness in all areas. A positive, friendly attitude and lots of common sense are essential!
The park is open all year round and we live onsite ourselves. We have a range of pitches - from fully serviced hard standing to grass with electric hook up, and a small hire fleet of luxury static caravans. There are also privately owned holiday homes and lodges. Our bar/restaurant is open during peak periods throughout the year.
Duties may include:
General site maintenance - grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting and weeding, changing gas bottles etc.
Refuse collection, managing recycling area
Moving touring caravans onto/off pitches
Assisting with cleaning shower block/laundry during busy periods.
Basic DIY skills would be useful, but not essential.
This is a permanent position for the right person. No dependents or pets.
If you are a couple, there may be cleaning and/or bar duties available for the second person.
Salary: TBC
We can offer a hard standing pitch for your own motorhome/caravan if required. Discounted food/drink in our bar/restaurant. Wi-Fi provided. Gas bottles supplied at cost price.
