Help is required on our beautiful 4 star park in the popular tourist destination of Devils Bridge, Near Aberystwyth in Mid Wales.
The Woodlands Caravan Park is a family run park and consists of 50 touring and camping pitches and 100 static caravans that are all privately owned. The park has an excellent reputation and has become a very popular campsite in our area. We have many repeat customers who have been visiting for years.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly couple with a professional work ethic to help us on our touring/ camping park.
The position will include a variety of tasks with variable hours between 15 and 30 per person per week. Ideally we require a couple who are experienced at this type of work and are willing to do serval seasons with us. Your fist year will be as secondary wardens with the possibility of you becoming the primary wardens the following year.
Duties will include:-
Checking in guests during and after office hours.
Dealing with queries and helping guests to get the most out of their holiday.
Cleaning the award winning toilet and shower block to a high standard.
Preparing our self catering bungalow on changeover days including the laundry and ironing.
Cleaning our camping pod on changeover days.
Keeping our laundry room and games room clean and tidy.
Gardening and strimming.
Nightly walk around the park to check noise levels.
Reception work including taking bookings by phone and responding to emails. Using our Camp-manager booking system.
Weekend work - every weekend during busy periods and bank holidays.
Other duties may be required as and when they occur.
Previous experience in the tourism industry preferred.
This role will be available from Easter to the end of September 2025.
A pitch with wifi and electric will be provided free of charge.
Holiday pay will be calculated at the end of your contract.
On your days off you will be able to leave the park and enjoy the surrounding area or pop home for a few days to see friends or stay on the park.
We will be happy to consider applicants with a pet providing that they are happy to be left in your accommodation while you are at work.
