Job description About us We are a family run Caravan Park situated on the outskirts of Pitlochry in a beautiful rural setting (PH16 5LD). We offer a variety of self catering lodges and caravan holiday homes, holiday home ownership as well as seasonal and nightly touring pitches. We are open from now until the end of October, offering a bar/restaurant service at weekends as well as our swimming pool, steam room and sauna and an outdoor play area. Holiday Park Assistants We are seeking highly motivated, friendly and self-driven individuals with great customer experience to join our team at Faskally Caravan Park for the summer season. As our Holiday Park Assistants, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the caravan park covering a wide variety of tasks as part of a focused team, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests. This position requires excellent hospitality skills and a strong ability to multi-task. We have opportunities for couples or friends in shared accommodation with shared communal facilities to reside on the caravan park for the working season. Working on a rota system covering shifts, including split shifts across all areas between the hours of 8am - 11pm, working 5/6 days out of 7 between 40-47 hours per week with weekend working essential. This is a fixed term contract from end of March until mid November. There is a rental charge of £15 per person per week for the accommodation which includes utilities. Evening `on call` duty may be required and paid at a rate of £15 per night person to be available for emergencies. Duties include: - Greeting guests upon arrival and check-in, providing them with park, accommodation and local information and recommendations - Daily housekeeping of our self catering accommodation, amenity blocks, communal areas, pool facilities and bar/restaurant - Grounds and maintenance work, including gardening, weeding, property maintenance etc - Daily operation, cleanliness and safety of the pool, spa and facilities - Assisting with bookings, administration, shop duties and guest enquiries in a timely and efficient manner - Operating in the bar/restaurant/kitchen, serving guests and supporting in the kitchen - Awareness and accuracy of health and safety checks as well as an understanding of legislation and GDPR when dealing with guests and other team - Evening `on calls` availability for guest emergencies on a rota basis Skills: - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Attention to detail to ensure guest satisfaction - Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards - Ability to deal with guest queries in calm and professionalism manner - Strong IT skills - Previous housekeeping and garden machinery experience - Driving license preferred If you are looking for a rewarding and challenging role, working in a friendly, customer focused environment this summer, please get on touch with us by emailing your CV and cover letter.
