Camping & Caravan Site Management Couple
Glenmore Campsite is situated in the heart of the Cairngorms in Scotland. Its a fantastic site with access to the beaches of Loch Morlich and close to ancient Pinewood Forest. Glenmore currently has a total of 206 pitches available between Tents, Caravans & Motorhomes, a number of them are filled with seasonal touring pitches.
Managing all aspects of the site - duties include, but not limited to:
Manning reception and phones, consistently providing excellent customer service, always meeting the expectations of all the visitors.
Site maintenance, including high level of cleanliness, and site landscaping.
To ensure the safe operational practices, and use of site equipment complies with company policy. Reporting any defective equipment and repairing when possible.
Assisting with customer enquiries and customer bookings.
To ensure the site toilet and shower facilities are cleaned daily and an additional deep clean is undertaken regularly.
To ensure the sites domestic waste is dealt with in a timely manner and hazardous substances are stored and disposed of within the legally required time.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Must have at least 3 years experience of running a campsites, or equivalent
Demonstrate a passion and knowledge of the role
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to manage a team
Attention to detail
Excellent Organisational skills
Experience of providing conflict resolutions
Ability to follow instructions
Experience in both cash handling and card transactions
Ability to use heavy machinery: mowers, blowers, strimmers, etc.
1 member of couple to have full driving licence
Not Essential, but desirable
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Experience with Camp Manager Booking System
First Aid Trained
Working hours: as required, 1-2 days off, alternated between the couple. Weekend, bank holidays and all other holidays are a necessity of this position.
Joint Salary: £49k
Salary includes Accommodation on site. Council Tax paid by company.
