Job description: Cashel Campsite is located in an idyllic spot on the east side of Loch Lomond. The campsite offers stunning views across the tranquil waters, incorporating Luss to the west and the mountains that lay either side as well as the surrounding Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. 15 miles from Balloch and 24 miles from Glasgow. Cashel is fantastic site with direct access to Loch itself with the ability to launch boats/Paddle Boards & Kayaks straight into the Loch from the site. Cashel currently has a total of 172 pitches available between tents, caravans & motorhomes, a small number of them are filled with seasonal touring pitches. Onsite facilities consist of 2 toilet blocks with showers, dishwashing, laundry, CDP, and more.
Job Vacancy: Seasonal Campsite Wardens - Couples or single applicants welcome.
Cashel has a vacancy for fit, active, outgoing, and friendly warden couple or individuals. The site is open from March - November, hours can be anything between 25-40 hours a week. The wardens will work as part of a small team, and will be able to work to their own initiative.
We are offering an hourly rate of pay including accrued holiday pay and pension contributions, free onsite pitch with electricity, laundry facilities, and in return for working 5 days per week to include weekends, bank holidays, late arrivals and evenings on call.
Duties will include but not limited to manning the reception, consistently providing excellent customer service, always meeting the customers expectations. Dealing with telephone enquiries, relating to touring caravans, motorhomes, tents, basic computer skills required to deal with our online bookings system by Camp Manager and e-mail enquiries along with associated administration. Cleaning the office and 2 toilet blocks depending on demand.
Site Works to include but not limited to general DIY and maintenance tasks, grass cutting using ride on mower, hand mower, strimmer, pruning, weed control and refuse collection. Ensuring the park is maintained to the very highest of standards.
Evening Duties to cover late arrivals and customer call outs, checking toilet facilities and closing the entrance gate.
The successful candidates must be friendly, honest, and outgoing with a can-do attitude. Have excellent customer service skills. Previous campsite experience not essential, knowledge of camping and caravanning would be beneficial. Must be extremely flexible and the ability to work as part of a small team.
