We are looking for two friendly, hard working people to join our campsite team for the 2025 season. This role is ideally suited for a couple up to 20 hours per week each, undertaking a mix of cleaning, maintenance and customer service tasks.
Kingsmead Centre Camping is a small traditional, family run campsite on the Devon/Somerset border. We offer a range of camping pitches, glamping tents and static caravans all in a beautiful woodland setting
This is a seasonal position from May to the end of September/October. You will need to bring your own campervan/motorhome/caravan and a hard standing pitch with electricity is included. A driving licence and own transport is essential for both applicants in order to drive our utility vehicles around the site.
The successful applicants must have excellent customer service skills, good range of practical hands on experience and be confident to make decisions on their own. You will need to be flexible as working hours and types of work will vary throughout the season.
Experience of working in hospitality is required and the ideal candidates will have experience of working outdoors in all weather using gardening and maintenance tools/equipment.
Further Details:
Working hours will be 5 to 6 days per week with a guaranteed day off together midweek. Total number of hours will vary throughout the season and the successful applicants must be prepared to work at least 40 hours between them during July & August and all bank holidays.
