Grantown-on-Spey Caravan Park is a busy family holiday location set in the heart of the Highlands within the beautiful Cairngorm National Park - far from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The popular caravan park is a 10-minute stroll from Grantown-on-Spey with its interesting variety of shops and restaurants.
Our touring and motorhome facilities are run to a very high standard. We offer a state-of-the-art heated toilet block and spacious, manicured pitches. There is a total of 120 touring pitches with 16 lodges and 80 privately-owned holiday homes, 6 chalets and a holiday home for hire and 2 wigwams for hire.
Job Vacancy: Full Time Warden Couple
We are looking for a hardworking, friendly, honest, enthusiastic couple with a `can do` attitude who are fit and active to join our team and help assist with the running of the busy park starting ASAP in full-time positions. Experience can be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Reception duties: Taking bookings through online platforms and by telephone, answering all customer enquiries, welcoming guests and checking in on a computer system, placing orders and running the small on-site shop, cash-handling and general administration, dealing with any emergencies, and giving tourist information of the local area. You will need to have a high level of customer service and be able to deal with any issues quickly and professionally, be computer literate and willing to take on any further duties required.
Outdoor duties: Welcoming guests and escorting them to their pitch, moving caravans onto pitch, looking after the hire caravans and cleaning of wigwams, toilet block cleaning at times, overseeing product stock levels, gas deliveries, refuse and recycling collection and maintaining the parks high standards. You will need to be able to deal with any jobs that arise in a professional manner. A clean current driving licence is required.
Accommodation will be provided with discount on electricity and gas plus free Wi-Fi. You would be expected to be on call at least 2 evenings per week including nightly checks of the facilities, with 2 days off midweek. You will need to be good team players and work well alongside the existing team.
Salary: £12 per hour, per person, work place pension, free uniform, discount for friends and family and a share of commission on sales.
