Park Warden Couple
Competent couple required to join the experienced team at The Coppice Leisure Park, which is situated in 140 acres of woodland in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside and only 7 miles from the historic city of Worcester. There are 161 owner-occupied static caravan holiday homes positioned on The Coppice.
Wardens will report to The Coppices Park Managers who are responsible for the day to day running of the park. Previous experience is advantageous, but not a necessity as training will be provided.
One of the Park Warden positions will be full time throughout the year and will mainly involve grounds person/technician duties, such responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): general park maintenance, assisting in the siting of holiday homes, gardening, developing pitches, maintaining the outdoor pool area, holiday home sales cover (when the Park Managers are on days off/annual leave), cleaning of the sales stock, pool & park buildings, reception duties, phone cover, etc.
The second Park Warden will work fulltime hours during the summer and reduced hours during winter. Duties consist of (but are not limited to) the above.
It is preferred that both applicants hold a full driving licence.
Working Hours
1 x full time Park Warden & 1 x Park Warden with varied hours depending on the time of year. Both positions are permanent.
Full time warden hours: 5-6 days per week, depending on workload and park manager holidays.
Varied hours warden: As we operate in the tourism industry there will be more work in the summer months and less during the winter months:
SUMMER MONTHS - typically, 40-50 hours per week.
WINTER MONTHS - typically, 25-35 hours per week.
Weekend and bank holiday work will be necessary.
Park Wardens cover the park managers days off and holidays, so flexibility is required.
Remuneration
£11.30 per person per hour, raising to circa £12.00 from 1st April 2024.
Rent free two bedroom accommodation is provided. Water usage is free. Electricity and gas usage chargeable.
Start date: April 2024 or as soon as mutually agreeable.
