Looe Country Park is a small holiday park set in glorious countryside just outside Looe. We are a quiet site with a shop, amenities area and a small playground, we do not have a clubhouse. Many of our customers return year after year, relaxing and enjoying the many attractions in the area.
We offer touring and self catering holiday accommodation on site and are looking for an enthusiastic and capable couple to join us for the holiday season May to end September 2024.
The ideal candidates will be experienced wardens although if you have the right expertise we are happy to train you. The main qualities that we are looking for are reliability, common sense, good customer service and an ability to work by yourselves and be proactive in everyday tasks and the confidence to take on new challenges together with practical experience relevant to the roles.
Duties will include
-grounds maintenance, cutting the grass, keeping the site clean and tidy.
-reception and office duties together with taking bookings, basic IT skills essential
-looking after the shop
-customer service is a very important role here and daily interaction and helping our customers enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable stay is central to the success of the site
-evening walkaround duties
-occasional cleaning of the site accommodation, including toilet block, statics and pods
-repairs and maintenance as required, a person with good DIY skills and happy to tackle most small jobs would be ideal

We are looking for a couple to ideally work 3-5 days a week (negotiable) , approximately 6 to 9 hours per day. You will be working together as a team for the majority of the time and will be required to look after out of hours tasks as they arise on your working days, although normally a walk around the site most nights suffices. The days off will be mid week. Holiday, we ask that you do not take during the peak season, although if you have anything already booked please let us know when you apply and we will try to accommodate.
The salary will be £12.00 per hour each plus a pitch and amenities. You will need to bring your own touring caravan or motorhome for you to live in.
