We are recruiting for Park Wardens for the 2025 season with different roles available. You would commence employment in March 2025. The positions are seasonal and will end at the end of the season in October 2025.
Reception Warden Role
Reception work to include working with a computerised booking system, answering the telephone and email booking enquiries, taking bookings and payments, providing customer service, general admin duties to include invoice processing, daily banking, assisting with health and safety checks, chasing for payments of private owners and booking invoices, ordering of office and cleaning supplies.
Applicants should be competent with a previous booking system and computer literate in Microsoft packages including Outlook, word and excel.
Grounds Warden Role
You will be assisting the Head Warden with the maintenance and running of the park grounds. Jobs include, mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, bin runs, general maintenance and park drainage. As part of your role you will be dealing with holiday makers and private owners.
For both roles you will also be required to carry out the following duties;
Pitching customers, dealing with late arrivals, some touring block cleaning and checks and nightly warden duties on a rota basis.
We are happy to consider applications from all fields, no previous warden experience is required. You should be someone who enjoys working with the general public. Flexibility is key in this job role together with a sense of humour! A good level of fitness is required as the job can be quite demanding at peak times.
Hours will vary from 30 in the off-peak season to 41 in the peak season. You will be expected to work weekends and bank holidays as these are our peak times. You will be provided with two full days off per week on a rolling rota basis.
In return we can offer you and electric pitch with water for your own caravan/motorhome. Gas can be purchased at cost. We are offering above minimum wage per hour for each role. You would be part of a small hardworking, friendly team.
