Single person or a couple with accommodation and utility bills included.
We are looking for a Park Warden to live on site all year round as we are licenced to be open for 12 months.
This caravan park is a located in the idyllic village of West Stockwith opposite a tiny marina where the River Trent and Chesterfield canal meet, 10 min from Gainsborough and 15 min from the lovely Town of Bawtry. Our site spans 6 acres that accommodates 78 seasonal touring caravans with 20 pitches for casual users.
Various tasks will be require attention on daily and weekly basis we include the following:
• Cleaning of the toilets and showers as necessary usually every 3 days maybe more in busy periods
• Checking people in and out of the site
• Basic Bookkeeping
• Answering the phone
• Dealing with visitors questions
• Checking the boiler is functioning correctly and keeping a log of fuel use
• Ordering wood pellets when necessary
• Grass cutting
• Electricity Meter Readings weekly
• Hedge cutting
• Flower bed maintenance
• General housekeeping of the site
• The skills to update the sites facebook page every 3 days with news and offers etc
Skills needed
• To meet and greet customers in a friendly manner
• Pleasant and helpful answering the phone
• To be able to carry out basic repairs on site if needed
• An understanding of operating machinery i.e. sit on mower, strimmers etc.
• reasonable levels of numeracy and literacy
• knowledge of caravanning
• UK Full Driving Licence
Ultimately, if you manage the job well your working hours will work to your advantage.
This is a full time position and Weekend and Bank Holiday work is required.
4 weeks annual holiday entitlement will need to be arranged in advance so we can supply temporary cover.
