Borders Hideaway is a tranquil holiday park located on the Anglo-Welsh border, only a couple of miles from the charming town of Hay-on-Wye, which is famed for being the ‘Town of Books` & hosts the world-renowned Hay Festival each year.
Borders Hideaway currently has 45 owner occupied static caravan holiday home pitches, additionally 21 pitches are to be developed (subject to planning permission), giving an opportunity for further holiday home sales. The park also offers; 2 residential park home pitches, 17 seasonal touring pitches and 25 + short stay motorhome, touring caravan and tent pitches.
The Park Manager positions require an affable couple who are capable in sales and customer care, but also possess all round practical skills in grounds development & property maintenance. Park managers are required to live on park and are responsible for day-to-day, week to week management of the park.
Duties include (but are not limited to): holiday homes sales, general park maintenance, assisting with customer enquiries, pitch development, holiday home siting, cleaning of washrooms and holiday home stock, gardening, booking in touring customers, manning the reception, etc.
It is preferred that both applicants hold a full driving licence.
Working hours:
5-6 days per week on alternate weeks.
Weekend and bank holiday work in the hospitality industry is necessary, as demand dictates.
Remuneration:
Joint salary: £65,300 (including benefits), plus holiday home sales commission.
Modern two-bedroom lodge accommodation is provided. No charge for water usage. Electric and gas usage is metered.
Start date: As soon as mutually agreeable, or January 2025.
