We are looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join our committed and growing team here at Longnor Wood, our award-winning 5-star glamping, camping and touring site. We are located in the Heart of the Peak District National Park.
The Role:
As a Housekeeper you will support with our mission to give our guests an unforgettable stress-free experience by ensuring that our accommodation and amenities exceed their expectations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Exercise five-star cleaning regimes and turnarounds of accommodation and amenity block
Ensure any agreed standards, safe systems of work and checklists are followed and completed to ensure that accommodation is the required standard for arriving guests
Undertake replenishment of cleaning and lodge supplies as required
Work proactively and with pride to maintain our 5-star facilities by identifying and sharing areas of improvement and undertaking all daily tasks promptly and diligently
Champion our commitment to listen and respond to feedback by identifying and reporting guest complaints promptly.
Customer service and guest experience is paramount to all that we do. As a Housekeeper you would be expected to provide first-class customer service when performing your duties, demonstrating a keen willingness to meet and satisfy the needs of our guests.
Hours of work will be between core operating hours of 09.30 - 13.30. Shifts will cover our turn over days Friday and Monday (8 hours per week). Peak seasonal demand, which you will be required to support, includes the summer months and national school holidays. During busy times there may be requirement to work additional hours as necessitated by the business.

Role specific skills and experience:
Previous hands-on cleaning experience preferred but not essential
Ability to build strong and effective relationships with guests and colleagues
Able to show initiative and make decisions
Strong attention to detail and personal pride in a job well done
Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role which also involves being outdoors
