York Caravan Park is a beautiful, adult only touring caravan & camping site located within the York ring road, yet surrounded by countryside, making it the ideal choice for holiday makers who enjoy peace and quiet, without being miles from the attractions of York.
There are 55 pitches in total, set in 7 acres, all of which are super pitches - they have drinking water, 16A electric, drains, WI-FI, and digital television points and are significantly larger than an average pitch. Each pitch is level, well drained, and has hedges round 3 sides. Hardstanding or grass pitches are available.
A modern amenities block houses heated facilities of the highest quality. The facilities include 'privacy rooms' - each with shower, toilet, sink and dressing area.
The site has a small wooded area which is perfect for BBQ's and picnics and a lake. Surrounding the park are open fields with our own organic rare breeds of cattle grazing.
Situated in York, and only about 2 miles from York Minster itself, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the attractions in the area surrounding this luxury touring caravan & camping site.
A bus service runs from outside the site entrance 3 times per hour.

Leave the A1(M) at Junction 44 and head East towards York on the A64. Continue along the A64 for about 18 miles until you reach a roundabout (do not turn off at the earlier slip road marked A1036 otherwise you will end up in the middle of York). Take the first exit signposted A1036. Proceed 50 yards on to the second roundabout remaining in the left hand lane to follow the A1036. In 50 yards turn left into Hopgrove Lane South just before the Toby Carvery Hopgrove Pub. Turn right at the T junction at the end of Hopgrove Lane. York Caravan Park is half a mile on your right.
