Poplars Farm site is a small, adult only campsite nestled in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales with panoramic, far- reaching views. The site is open all the year round and visitors relax and unwind in the peaceful site with the changing seasons.
The site has space for 5 caravans or motorhomes, 6 tents and 3 glamping pods plus a holiday cottage for 4 adults.
Each caravan pitch benefits from hard-standing with grass around. Of the 6 tent pitches, three have electric hook up.
The glamping pods accommodate 2 adults in each. Each pod has a private shower/WC in the nearby facilities block. Hazel and Ash are dog friendly. In Ash and Willow, choose to have twin beds or a double bed, whilst Hazel has a double bed. It is easy to see why this type of holidaying has become so popular, as it allows the camping experience whilst negating some of the drawbacks of the English weather and the over-loaded car. Please remembered to bring your own bedding for the pods. Each pod has a heater, TV, kettle, fridge and cutlery/crockery bbq/fire pit.
Dogs are also very welcome in the vans and tents and they benefit from the 10 acre site and the dog walk.
Access to the site is very good and does not cause any difficulty for larger vehicles.
To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the site, there is a quiet after 11pm policy.

If you are using SAT NAV, please be aware that the postcode, DE6 3ED is one mile long and most SAT NAVs will direct you to the middle of the postcode. We are at the Hulland Ward end (Ashbourne rather than Belper end) of the postcode. We are at the top of Biggin Lane, where Biggin Lane turns off the A517. Look out for the `Poplars Farm` signs.
