The Dairy caravan and campsite is ideally placed just outside the old market town of Thame in the pretty village of Moreton. A very quiet, beautiful site full of mature trees and level grassland kept like a lawn. Very well positioned for Thame (a 15 minute walk on a tarmac path), Oxford 280 bus ride, or the Chilterns (10 minute drive).
Run by the same owner for over thirty years
We do have some limited space now. If you would like to book please click here to contact us we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Over one hundred mature trees
Four acres of level ground
Grass kept like a lawn
Lots of space per unit
All weather pitches now installed
Drinking water, chemical emptying point and electric hook-ups
A fifteen minute walk or five minute cycle ride along a small tarmac path will take you through the fields to Thame town centre
This has been a certificated camp site for over 20 years and the aim now is for it to evolve into a fully fledged licensed site. There will be no change in the peaceful ambience that this site has a reputation for.
Please note; there are no showers or toilets on this site.
I apologise to all those waiting for the new shower block.
It seems the majority of my customers like the site as it is and dont want the site ‘commercialised`.
So I am going to leave the site as a non facility site, no showers or toilets. Tents are welcome but you will need your own chemical loo, the Porta Potti is worth a look. If you are planning to bring a tent please bring a chemical loo or we will be unable to accept your booking.

Owner Directions
For your trusty Sat Nav: OX9 2HX or Moreton, Nr Thame, Oxfordshire
Follow A418 to Thame. At the main ringroad roundabout outside of Thame take the 3rd exit (sign posted to Oxford A418). After one mile go straight over the next roundabout, 2nd exit (sign posted A329 to Stadhampton and Milton Common). After 7 or 800 yards turn left by the chevrons marking a tight right hand bend. If you`re lucky you might just have time to see a little sign on the right `Moreton Village only`, but turn left.
Half a mile down the road you will come to the village War Memorial (sat navs give up about here). Turn left and 200 yards down the road turn left into the driveway (you can see ‘The Dairy sign from the war memorial). Keep to the left in the drive, up the concrete slope and go between the house and garage. There is a small car park there where you can stop and walk back to the house
