Small, quiet Caravan and Campsite in centre of Dufton, near Appleby in Westmorland. On the Pennine Way Path and ideal for walkers.
The site is located at the East end of the Village green and has outstanding views over Dufton Ghyll wood and the Pennines.
It is an ideal stopping point for those doing Pennine Way, Pennine Bridalway and the Sustrans Pennine Cycleway be it just overnight or for a rest day or those of us who just want to have a quiet break away.
For tents there is a designated grassed area caters for all campers with room for 1/2 man tents. We have an overflow field for Family Tents and Groups that looks up to Dufton pike, solar toilet in the field but just a short walk to the shower block on the site.
The camping area includes the supply of a free electric hook up and water.
There is a small wooden shelter with seating for those wet days or weary feet.
For tourers & Motorhomes - all our pitches are hardstanding and come with free electric hook up and individual water supply.
Car parking is next to your pitch and all pitches are large enough to accommodate an awning.
The shower / toilet block is a stroll away, along with recycling, washing up facilities and even a drying room is available!
Tea Room and shop opening late April-October
Stag Inn (food), 2 mins away, on attractive village green, surrounded by Lime Trees , and magnificent views of Cross Fell and the Pennine Range.
Hobbit Huts to hire just up from a tent, bedding can be hired, Kettle/tea/coffee and for those walking a porridge pot for the next day.
32 Seasonal tourer sites with electric hook-ups.
2 Toilet/Shower Blocks.

Walk to High Cup Nick on the Pennine Range .Plenty of short walks also, around the village and through Dufton Ghyll , Woodland Trust property.
Historic town of Appleby - in -Westmorland. 3 miles away. GOLF COURSE, FISHING, SWIMMING POOL,HORSE-RIDING. Follow the Lady Ann Trail, or the River Eden walks.
Take a trip on the Carlisle / Settle railway line. Only 30 mins from Lake District by car.
