Kings Forest Caravan & Camping Park, Wideham Farm is a quiet and tranquil Adults Only site with immediate access to Kings Forest just outside the village of West Stow. We are found opposite the Anglo Saxon Centre and West Stow Country Park, and a short drive away from the Suffolk Wildlife Centre. You will notice the calm atmosphere as soon as you arrive. Leave your worries outside the gate!
You may want to take time out and relax, enjoy the forest for walking the dog, or just use the site as a base to explore some of the picturesque villages of Suffolk and its coastline which is just an hour away, this is the perfect place to and stay!
We have pitches available for caravans, rv`s, motorhomes, trailer-tent and tents as well as several spacious non-electric pitches set away from the main ehu pitches.
There are various water points around the site including on the Shower and Toilet Pavilion, where you will also find the pot wash and veggie prep station. The chemical waste emptying point is also close by. We even have a warm pooch wash for your dog!
Well behaved dogs are very welcome but we kindly request they be kept on leads whilst on the property and not left unattended. Please bag any dog mess immediately, either put in one of the general waste bins or take it home.
BBQs and fire pits are permitted but due to our close proximity to the forest must be kept well off the ground, sorry no camp fires. (If extreme weather conditions are being experienced we may ask guests to refrain from using these due to the high fire risk)
No ball games and no commercial vehicles allowed at any time.
The Caravan Park and Camping Park is strictly an adults only site.

Fullers Mill Garden. West Stow is beautiful any time of the year, check their opening days and times to avoid disappointment. The River Lark runs through the Anglo Saxon Centre and West Stow Country Park, just opposite Wideham Farm. Lackford Lakes home of Suffolk Wildlife Trust is just five minute drive away; the perfect place to take the camera or binoculars and capture some shots of the wildlife from the many hides.
The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is less than ten minutes. Abbey Gardens is a popular, neighboured by Bury St Edmunds Cathedral and the Moyes Museum is found on the market place. If you fancy a bit of retail therapy instead the Ark Shopping Centre is the place to go.
The nearby racing town of Newmarket, old Suffolk towns of Lavenham and Long Melford, with Constable Country just beyond on your way to the Suffolk Coastal towns of Aldeburgh, Southwold are all well worth the visit.
