Camping la Plage Blanche - 3 stars is situated in the northern Jura. Just 20 minutes from Dole, one of the most attractive towns of the Franche-Comte region, the campsite benefits from a natural and peaceful setting.
Surrounded by places of interest, Camping la Plage Blanche is at 200 meters altitude on the plain but the foothills of the Jura Mountains are close at hand !
Camping la Plage Blanche in the Jura runs 800 meters along the banks of the River Loue, classified a first category river for fly fishing. Swim or play in the river with friends or with your children… otherwise just enjoy the view of the river whilst sunbathing on the riverside !
At Camping la Plage Blanche facilities include an outdoor pool, a spa, a bar and restaurant and basic groceries including fresh bread. We are open May 10th until September 15th 2015.
The 3 star Camping la Plage Blanche offers 218 spacious grassy pitches all suitable for tents, caravans or motorhomes. The pitches, mostly semi shaded, are either along the river bank or look out across the fields and open countryside to the Jura hills.
All pitches offer 10 amp electric hook-up (Blue European adapter required for all) and water taps are available at regular intervals around the whole campsite.
Camping la Plage Blanche has 3 modern shower blocks, 2 of which provide facilities for the disabled and the third provides a baby room with baby bath and changing facilities. One shower block is heated during the low season.
A motorhome service point is available free of charge for all our visitors and chemical toilets can be emptied at each of the 3 sanitation blocks.
A laundry is equipped with 3 washing machines and a tumble dryer. An ironing board and iron are also at your disposal.

Take a boat out on the River Loue… canoes can be hired from the ValNature activities center at the entrance to the campsite… alternatively hire a mountain bike and go off and explore the nearby Chaux Forest, one of the biggest oak forests in the Jura and in France.
