Knotlow Farm is a welcoming family-run campsite, set in the tranquil, picturesque landscape of the Peak District National Park, halfway between Bakewell and Buxton.
We cater for everyone, from couples to families, and you can bring a tent or a caravan and in one of our spacious camping fields, try posh camping for couples in one of our beautiful spruce-built camping pods (each complete with its own hot tub).
We are a small, family run site, 1 mile from main road
Set in over 100 acres of farmland with the Limestone Way footpath running through and joining the Lathkill Dale.
Access to the site is very good, having a newly surfaced private road.
You cannot see or hear the main road from the campsite, however, and there is little here to disturb your tranquillity save the peaceful sound of the animals on our farm. The Limestone Way runs through part of our farm, enabling walking enthusiasts to enjoy fresh air and breathtaking scenery without the need for even a short drive.
Our camping fields are part of a typical Derbyshire farmyard setting, and cater for both tents and caravan campers, with electric hook-ups, pot washing facilities, toilets and hot showers to refresh yourself in at the end of a long day trekking or touring the many local attractions.
There is a small shop onsite, where you can get basic groceries and sweets, and we run a home-made pizza service every evening. You can also hire fire baskets to bring that extra bit of ambience.

Nearby Attractions
Flagg is a small rural village with 2 pubs and tearooms within walking distance.
Just a stones throw away from the Limestone way-footpath, which cuts through some of our farmland. The Tissington, Monsal Head and High Peak trails are nearby for walkers & bicycle enthusiasts.
There are many places to visit and lots of activities to suit everyone including the famous Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall (where Jayne Eyre was filmed), The Heights of Abraham, the Caves at Castleton, Carsington Reservoir, balloon rides, garden centres, fishing, bird watching, horse riding, shopping villages, local weekly market stalls including a livestock market in Bakewell on Mondays, monthly local farm produce markets, agricultural shows, well dressing and carnivals and much much more!!

Owner Directions
A515, Ashbourne to Buxton turn right after Bull i`th` Thorn pub, continue for approx 1 mile down Moor Lane, then turn right at left hand bend where the property is signposted. Approaching from Buxton on A515, turn left after Duke of York pub, take a left at junction and continue to bottom of road and turn right on left hand bend, property signposted. From Bakewell take B5055 at roundabout, turn right after Bolehill farm, continue for approx 3 miles, turn left at crossroads, go through Flagg village, turn left at bus shelter, and continue on, property signposted
