Welcome to Doe Park Caravan Site, our quiet and friendly family run touring park in the heart of beautiful Teesdale in County Durham. Situated on our traditional working farm, between the pretty villages of Cotherstone and Romaldkirk, Doe Park is set in parkland in the grounds of the historic 17th century farmhouse. The touring site is surrounded by farmland, moors, hills and dales and is an ideal base for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the stunning countryside of North East England.
The village of Cotherstone is only half a mile from the site by pleasant road or river walk and benefits from a well stocked village shop and two pubs serving local ales and good food. A regular bus service can be accessed by the site entrance and runs between the historic market town of Barnard Castle and Middleton in Teesdale in the Upper Dale. Visitors can enjoy an abundance of walks from the site and the Teesdale and Pennine Ways are close by. Balder Banks Nature Reserve is part of the farm and adjacent to the touring park. Guests can enjoy private river fishing on our own water or alternatively fish on the local reservoirs.
Doe Park is open for tourers and motorhomes between March 1st and October 31st. The Lamb family assure you of a warm welcome and we do our utmost to meet visitors particular needs and requirements. If you would like to come and stay with us we would be very pleased to see you!
