Our award winning site has 2 caravan fields with 30 fully serviced pitches. Low Rigg Field | Pitches 1-14 High Rigg Field | Pitches 15-30
The pitches are level and all hardstanding with a 3m grass area with picnic table. Fully service include | 16A electric, grey water drain and mains water taps. The pitches have very good free WiFi. 5G and phone service reception is excellent from the site. Analog TV can be achieved but, we recommend a Smart TV or a satellite arial for best results.

We have an award winning large wet-room style shower block with 10 showers and 7 toilets in each of the Mens and Ladies. There are hairdryers and shaver points and a baby changing area.

The Mountain Ranges which loom over Burns Farm can be explored by walking from the site, there are lots of quite and peaceful shorter trail too including the spectacular railway walk which links Keswick with the beautiful village of Threlkeld. The trail can be joined at the bottom of Burns Farm hill which will lead to Keswick. The trail is a multi user trail suitable for walkers, runners, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, wheelchairs and cyclists. A little further on from the entrance to the railway track is Threlkeld Village where you will find pubs and a cafe. You can also catch the X4/X5 bus into Keswick from this point.
Nearby Attractions
Just three miles east of Keswick town and only one mile west of Threlkeld village, we are a great base for exploring the surrounding mountains and peaks of Blencathra, Skiddaw, Latrigg, Scafell Pike, Scafell and Helvellyn, to name a few.
For water sports and the paddle-board enthusiast, it is a short drive to Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake.
In Keswick visit Lake Derwentwater Marina for sailing, fishing wind-surfing, rowing, swimming or go on one of the regular Launches.
In addition to a vast number of eating places, not to mention pubs and shops catering for tourists, it has: a theatre - `The Theatre by the Lake` a cinema a park with crecket ground, tennis, bowls and miniature golf facilities a street market every Saturday & Tuesday morning a golf course 1 mile from the site in Thrilkeld
From junction 40 on the M6 at Penrith, follow sings for Keswick on the A66
After proximally 15 miles, take a left turn for Burns farm and Castlerigg Stone Circle (signposted) Follow the road round for about ½ a mile-the site is on your right, the farm on your left
