Higher Rew is a family run park in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the beautiful Salcombe Harbour. Three generations of the Squire family have, over many years, created a relaxed caravan and camping park for your enjoyment.
The Park is approximately 5 acres of well kept, gently sloping grassland. It has been terraced to provide 90 level pitches, most of which have views across South Sands valley.
The fields above the park can be used by our guests for dog-walking, kite-flying or just sitting and enjoying the countryside.
There are ten water points on the park and only twenty pitches at the far end do not have access to electricity.
The facilities are all located in traditional farm buildings at the entrance to the park with the exception of the shop/reception which is in a wooden chalet.
All facilities are maintained to a high standard. The showers were refurbished in 2018 and we have solar panels to provide hot water.
Dogs welcome on the park if kept on lead. Adjacent fields available for dog walking.

Laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, deep sinks, iron & ironing boards.
Indoor dish washing facilities.
Play barn with table tennis, skittle alley and pool table.
Covered play area for children under 11 years.
Tennis court available for hire.
Plenty of open space for children to play.
Ice pack freezing facilities and ice pack rental.
Camping & Calor Gas stocked.
Well stocked shop
Book exchange.
Free wifi in and around the facility buildings.
Pop up Pizza van on Friday from 5pm in high season.
Burger Van on a Wednesday Evening from 5pm and Saturday Evening from 5pm (high season only)
Hot breakfast rolls on a Saturday morning from 8.30am (high season only)
Nearby Attractions
The Park is approximately 1 mile from South Sands which is ideal for boating, sailing and windsurfing, as well as safe bathing.
A ferry runs from South Sands to Salcombe Town.
Soar Mill, a sandy cove is within walking distance and several sandy beaches are within easy reach by car.
The Coastal Path and other beautiful walks can be reached via public footpaths from the Park.

When approaching from Kingsbridge on A381 to Salcombe, turn right at Townsend Cross (Higher Rew is on Sign post from here), Malborough and follow signs to Soar for approx 1 mile, then turn left at Rew Cross.
Higher Rew is the first turning on the right.
