A relaxing site perfect for adults looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, situated just outside of Old Sodbury in the Gloucestershire countryside.
Ideally located A few miles away from M4 Junction 18 Bristol/Bath, just 25 minutes from Bristol and 30 minutes from the historic city of Bath, there's plenty to do in the local area.
There are just five spacious grass pitches set in a large open field, including a small woodland. The site has free Wi-Fi, an elsan point, drive over grey waste grid, grey waste sink along with several fresh water taps. No electric points, toilet or shower block, units will require on-board facilities.
A maximum of two dogs are allowed per pitch and there is a dog walk leading directly from site. But please keep them on the lead when onsite.
Campfires are permitted but only in the site provided fire pits and they must be raised off the ground.
Also operate as a small rally field and allow private bookings.
Open from 1 April to 31 October
Nearby Attractions
Not too far away discover Westonbirt Arboretum, Badminton village, (home of the famous horse trials), Castle Coombe, Dyrham Park and several golf courses. If you want some retail therapy, try Chipping Sodbury or Yate which are just a few miles away and offer a range of both independent shops and larger supermarkets.
Now the important bit, - Old Sodbury has two great pubs. The Cross Hands Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the site, you will pass it en route to us. The pub is part of the Greene King group and is a charming old posting house. It serves a range of traditional English food, accompanied with real ales, premium lagers and fine wines and a selection of gins. It also offers free Wi-Fi and is dog friendly apart from the restaurant.
The Dog Inn is a fifteen minute walk from the site a real "English Pub" over 500 years old and grade 2 listed. It serves a large and varied menu with ample choice for vegetarians, and again dogs are welcome.

From M4 J 18 Take the A46 towards Stroud. After 2 miles you will arrive at a traffic light controlled junction by the Cross Hands Hotel.
Turn left at the junction (A432) and then immediately U turn around the island, (please pay close attention as to what other drivers are doing). Hill Lane is immediately on the left hand side. (See website for an alternative to the U turn.) Approach Hill Lane carefully as there may be other traffic, horses or pedestrians in this area. The entrance to the site is by way of a field gate approximately 200 metres on the left. Look for a red mirror on the right hand bank and the entrance is opposite.
From Yate Take A432 towards Old Sodbury. When you reach the junction by the Cross Hands Hotel in Old Sodbury stay in the left hand lane and you will find Hill Lane street sign almost at the lights. Do not take the A46 towards Stroud. The entrance to the site is by way of a field gate approximately 200 metres on the left.
