This is a pop-up campsite, and it may only be open for limited periods within the opening dates shown.
Located in the village of Poughill adjacent to our farm and car repair garage, we now introduce our new little campsite over looking the town of Bude, nestled in the countryside and mostly surrounded by grass land and arable fields.
Open to the elements but with stunning sea views, you can , relax and take in the picturesque north Cornwall coast line and also enjoy some of the most stunning sun sets and starry night skies Cornwall has to offer.
We have 10 grass pitches available within our site for tents, camper vans and caravans.
1-9 pitches measuring 8m x 10m
and number 10 pitch measures 4m x 20m (camper van or caravan only not suitable for tents)
(no commercial vehicles without prior notification (these may need to be stored in Car park)
We have 4 electric hookups available pitches 1-4
Tent and camper pitches start from £22 per night (2 people)
+£11 per extra adult
+£6 per extra child
Dogs are welcome (max 2 per pitch) must be on lead at all times pup tent allowed
(max 6 people per pitch)
+£6 per night for electric hookup
1 vehicle per pitch max eg. 1 camper van or 1 car and tent/caravan
(any extra vehicles must be left in the parking area)
We have a toilet block on site with two unisex toilets that include lighting, hot water, sanitary bins and hand dryers.
There is also a shower cubicle and pot wash area.
Drinking water tap located outside.
Wheelie bins for general waste and recycling including metal dustbin for bbq disposal.
(Mornings and evenings here are lovely and peaceful, but we are a working farm with animals in the fields and a nearby repair garage, so there may be some smells and noises on occasion in the day time).
Our campsite is situated next to a public footpath which leads to the near by village of Poughill (10 min walk) where you can find a lovely local pub The Preston Gate with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food and drinks available.
Nearby Attractions
Situated just a few minutes off The Atlantic Highway (aka the A39) and minutes away from Bude, you can discover some of the best beaches in North Cornwall, including the open air sea pool on Summerleaze beach.
The area has many activities to offer for adults and children of all ages - excellent surfing spots at Widemouth beach, a seaside links golf course, pedal boating on the Bude canal, Segway and climbing experience nearby, and an abundance of beautiful coastal and inland walks in and around the area.
Visit the heritage centre in the Bude castle and learn about the local history, go bowling at Venue, or take the family for a swim at Bude Leisure Centre.
A 5-10 min drive or cycle ride in to Bude offers a wide variety of entertainment venues, shops, bars and restaurants in pleasant surroundings.

Owner Directions
We are located on the road between Stratton and Stibb in the village of Poughill. If you are approaching from the A39 at Stratton, follow the Stibb road north, pass the cross roads and keep on going past the Wooda holiday site until you reach the top of the hill.
There you will see a stone wall entrance on your left hand side and a driveway with a sea view. Follow the drive all the way until you find us right ahead of you.
