Silverhill Woodland Retreats, formally Teversal CCC site has been awarded 5 Penants from the AA. We pride ourselves on offering you a high quality site with a friendly atmosphere.
We must mention our 'Loo of the Year' shower facilities - they are truly unique with underfloor heating, large bathrooms and marble walling! This is 5 star camping.
We have 3 types of pitches for you to choose from:
Grass with Electric - camp on the grass during the summer months. Suitable for tents, trailer tents, folding campers, motorhomes and caravans
Hardstanding with Electric - camp all year on these hard pitches. Suitable for trailer tents, folding campers, caravans and motorhomes
Super-Service - these pitches are hardstanding with electric but with the added luxury of a fresh water tap and grey drainage point on your pitch.
We have a limited number of seasonal pitches
Leave your camping equipment at home and let us take the strain or why not come camping with your 'non-camping' friends in our our Log Cabin, Safari Tents and Static accomodation
Our modern amentiy block houses 5 large shower rooms each for men and women with a sink, toilet and shower and underfloor heating. The family room has a toilet, sink, shower, baby change, toddler seat and baby bath so the whole family can get ready in comfort. Also in the block is a laundry, disabled access bathroom, washing up facility and chemical disposal point.
Our new playground caters for all ages with swings, slides, climbing wall and roundabout, your children are sure to love this and make new friends whilst camping
On arriving at the site, please report to reception. We have a well stocked shop on site selling camping essentials, ice creams, hot drinks, gas and much more
Nearby Attractions
Relax in the Nottinghamshire countryside, with miles of off road walking and cycling trails directly from the site and a good pub at the end of the road there is no need to take the car out.
A surprising number of attractions are within easy reach, Hardwick Hall, Sherwood Forest, Chesterfield Market town and Nottingham city

Owner Directions
M1 Junction 29, A6175 towards Clay Cross. DO NOT TAKE FIRST ROAD ON LEFT - MILL LANE. Continue over first roundabout, left at second roundabout towards Tibshelf. Continue for 3 miles, turn left at the roundabout, continue over the M1 and for 2 miles. Turn left into Silverhill Lane at the Carnarvon Arms Pub.
From the South
M1 Junction 28, A38 towards Mansfield. 1st set of lights turn left, over 2 mini roundabouts, straight through the lights on the hill, left at the crossroads. At the end of the road turn right. Continue for 1.5 miles turn left into Silverhill Lane at the Carnarvon Arms Pub.
