The Caravan site is set on a southerly corner of the Carradale Estate, adjoining Carradale Bay with over a mile of golden sands.
Very safe bathing and a mile of golden sand for the children to dig to their hearts content. Easy launching of your own boat, kayak, or board. Dolphins, porpoise, occasional whale and of course the gentle giant basking shark, are all seen along our coastline.
There are cosy log cabins or luxury caravans for hire if you would like to stay on this secluded south facing sandy bay. With comfortable living area, attractive soft furnishings, heating and television. They are fully equipped, and include bed linen. You only need to provide your own towels and tea towels. These luxury holiday homes are for hire and sale.
There is an on site laundrette and payphone for your convenience.

The backdrop of forest and hills provides endless scope for walking, from rugged scrambles, to the easy to follow waymarked forestry paths, as well as fantastic coastal routes.
The forestry commission provide mountain bike routes for the hardy, or try a gentle ride through the Carradale Estate and surrounding areas.
Kintyre is home to five superb challenging, yet unique, golf courses and boasts some of the best courses in Scotland
Sea fishing from the rocks and harbour or boat trips can be arranged. The river Carra runs along the edge of the site and has a run of Salmon and Sea Trout for the game angler. Wild brown trout and stocked rainbows fishing is available on Tangy and Lussa Lochs. Daily and weekly tickets are available from the site office.
Please only use these recommended directions for the final approach and not sat nav, due to unsuitable roads for towing. Turn left off A83 (Tarbert - Campbeltown) in Campbeltown onto B842 (signposted Carradale). In 14.25 miles at T-junction turn right onto B879 (signposted Carradale); approach slowly. In about 600 yards at site sign turn immediately right into estate road and follow signposts to site. The Site entrance is in 0.5 mile.
