Country parkland, lakeside view, Smeaton`s Lakes, the site for you!
Often described by new visitors as one of the East Midlands` best kept secrets, Smeaton`s Lakes` close proximity to the A1 and A46 make it the ideal base from which to explore the many and varied attractions of this historic area.
The site is supervised by the owner, thus ensuring no overcrowding, and is protected by 24-hour CCTV and an on-site warden.

The site has 120 touring pitches, the majority of which are hard standing with electricity and water on-pitch.
We welcome tents and even have a number of pitches available with electricity and water supplies.
NB: Pre-booking is advised
Fishing at Smeaton`s Lakes
A wide variety of fishing is available on the site, with 5 lakes spread over an area of 90 acres in addition to The Finger Ponds.
We have an established on-site fishery. Disabled people are catered for, with all lakes having easily accessible pegs. In addition to the lakes, we also have 7 pegs on the River Trent.
Smeaton`s Lakes is covered by 24-hour CCTV and our on-site warden is here to ensure the safety of your property.
We provide secure on-site storage for caravans and motorhomes in a locked compound, with electric gates, accessible only via the office during office hours (7 days a week from 8:00am to 5.00pm).
Access to the compound can be gained at other times by arrangement.
Stored caravans and motorhomes can be positioned prior to your arrival and returned to the compound after your departure if required.

Centrally located close to the A1 and the East Coast main railway line, the site is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of this historic area.
