We are a short walk from the historic town of Fraserburgh, where you will find a working harbour, good range of shops, restaurants and cafes, all set in the grandeur of its granite architecture. There is also a public swimming pool and leisure centre, a gorgeous sandy beach which is popular for water sports too, the Scottish Lighthouse Museum and the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre. In the other direction along the coastal path you will come to the small fishing harbours of Sandhaven and Pitullie, and beyond that Rosehearty. There you can see the ruined castles of Pitullie and Pitsligo, over looking the shore. We are directly on the NE250 tourist route, so a great place to stop whilst on this, as youre travelling along the beautiful Moray Firth Coastline or if heading to or from the Highlands and Inverness, the starting point of the NC500.
We are on the B9031 coastal road, exactly halfway between Fraserburgh and Sandhaven. We are the only cottage along the road, next to a fishermans unit. There is a black and white motorhome sign directly opposite our entrance, which is between two small stone walls. Note: Using our postcode in a satnav may take you to a property that shares the code, on a different road to us, so please use any of the directions above to avoid this.
