Netherwood Touring Site is the nearest campsite to Chester and `our little secret`. A delightful country site set in the grounds of handsome Netherwood House and backing onto the Shropshire Union Canal.
Visit Chester by walking along the canal towpath whilst stopping at several village pubs and renowned eateries - all within walking distance.
The site also has good public transport links and a park & ride nearby to help you explore the wonderful historic city of Chester and the surrounding Cheshire countryside.
Numbers are never overcrowded - we have 15 electrical pitches plus a large recreational field. The site is surrounded by the shelter of neat trees, on well-mown grass.
Our pitch pricing can include electric hook-up.
Facilities at the Site include water points, basins, a chemical disposal point and free WiFi.
A toilet block in the old stables includes hot & cold showers, electric shaving points (including continental sockets) and hair and hand dryers.
Advance booking is essential, especially at Public holidays and in July and August, when the site is nearly always full.
Please note - We are no longer an adult site and now welcome well-behaved children
The site is under new ownership for the 2024 season. We`re delighted to take on this lovely place and plan to make many improvements over the next few years.
Nearby Attractions
Visit Chester by walking along the towpath and take in the many pubs and eateries along the way, including the Cheshire Cat and Poplars, each only a few minutes on foot along the canal. This is the perfect location for both the city and the surrounding Cheshire countryside.
