A charming campsite set in the beautiful Lot valley between Cajarc and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Only 150 meters from the River Lot, it lies in its own tranquil valley and is a haven for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the stunning natural environment.
Flowers and butterflies are abundant on the campsite all summer but particularly so in May and June - the same time as the stunning display of orchids for which the Lot region is especially famed.
It is an ideal site for cycling or walking holidays and is in a great location for exploring the Quercy Natural Park and the great sites of the Midi Pyrenees.
Our pitches are very large and spacious and are surrounded by specimen trees and ancient stone walling.
Most pitches offer some shade from the bright sun. Many of them provide good shade for most of the day. If you prefer to be in the sun, there is a location that suits you.
Electricity is 6 amps with European connections and water taps are located around the campsite.
With a bar and restaurant and two beautiful swimming pools, what more could you need for your perfect holiday with your caravan, camper-car or tent?
2 Swimming Pools
The campsite has two swimming pools in a purpose built area (During the low season months of May and June the pools may not be open).
High speed Wi-Fi
Wifi has been upgraded for 2023 to provide high speed (up to 200 Mbs) throughout the campsite.
Indoor area/games room
We have a games room with billiards, table football, games and books.
Washing machine
Take advantage of the camping`s washing machine and washing line.
Outdoor games/playgrounds
The campsite has a petanque court, table tennis tables, a playground (with goal posts) and many other outdoor games which you can borrow from reception.
Children`s play area
A children`s play area comprising a swing (with a new slide) and swings.
Barbecue area
Take advantage of the BBQ area to cook your evening meals. There is also space to sit and enjoy your food.
Fridges
There is a communal fridge in the BBQ area, or if you wish you can hire a mini fridge for your pitch for the week.
Walk the Dog
We have a designated area for you to walk your dogs, but be sure to clean up after them if necessary.
Nearby Attractions
Camping Ruisseau du Treil is set in the Quercy Natural Park.
Saint Cirq-Lapopie (voted France`s favorite village in 2012) is just 9km away and easily accessible by car or cycle.
The bustling village of Cajarc is also 9km with bars, restaurants and shops.
Visits to the Caves of Pech Merle and the Chateau of Cenevieres are a "must".
A little further afield - within 40 minutes drive are the historic towns of Cahors, with its famous Valentre Bridge, Villefranche de Rouergue - a bastide town dating from XI century and Figeac - nestling on the Cele river and famed for its picturesque medieval buildings and museums.
Walking and Cycling routes are numerous with a few starting and finishing at the campsite.

Owner Directions
We are 4 hours away from the Spanish border and under 3 hours from Bordeaux. The Mediterranean resorts of Sete and Agde are less than 4 hours drive from the campsite, so we are ideally situated for a welcome stop on the way further south.
By Car: From the north, take the A20 motorway south towards Toulouse.Exit at Junction 57 (North Cahors). Head for Cours and then Vers. Bear left at Vers (direction St Cirq Lapopie) on the D662. Larnagol and the camp site is a 25 minute drive from here.
By Air: The nearest airports are Rodez and Toulouse
By Train: The nearest station is Cahors.
