Set in a screened and very quiet rural location, right next to a pub!
The Anvil site is a quiet and secluded 6 pitch touring caravan site right in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, situated next door to our popular pub, where we serve great quality homemade pub food, great real ales and a warm welcome from Karl, Kath and The Anvil Team.
Electric hook up is provided on a metered basis and we refund any unused electricity. Wifi is available free in the pub.
We also offer a 3 bedroom static caravan for hire on a nightly or weekly basis. This is situated on our site tucked under the trees, and is beautifully peaceful. All linen is supplied (including towels) and the static has a fridge, cooker, heating and gas fire, so is suitable for all year round occupation.
We are open over all the holiday periods including Christmas and New Year.
Nearby Attractions
Close by is Sandringham House, HRH The Queen's private Norfolk retreat. This is open to the public for large parts of the year (except when Her Majesty is in residence). The grounds and woods are open all year and are well worth a visit.
The cities of Norwich, Peterborough and Cambridge are all within reach of The Anvil Site (around 40 miles away. All are interesting places to visit.
The port of Kings Lynn is a mere 6 miles away and has lots of interesting historical features as well as places to eat, theatre etc! The small city of Ely is also within 30 miles and again has many interesting attractions including Ely Cathedral with its famous octagonal tower.
We have a friendly pub serving food next door with all of our very friendly local regulars who love to meet new people!

Enter our postcode (PE32 1DU) into your sat nav and you will easily find us. We are located down some narrow country roads but don't be put off. It will be well worth it.
Almost all of our visitors return to see us, some every year and some more regularly than that.
