Star Field Camping and Glamping is a family-run, back-to-nature site on a working farm. Our focus is natural, greener camping which is why we are a member of the Greener Camping Club, and celebrate the unrefined habitat on our site
Star Field is the perfect retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful escape to unwind with a clear view of the night sky.
We have several spacious pitches alongside our glamping units, which include bell tents and safari tents.
Our camping field is kept natural with long grass in between pitches with plenty of space for kids young and old to run about and play. With 10 available pitches in 5 acres, your pitch will be both spacious and private.
Each pitch comes with its own fire ring, fire starting kits, logs and camping fuel are all available to buy from the country store on site.
There are hot showers and composting loos as well as a hot water washing up station available. Drinking water is available at the washing up station as well as at various areas around the site.
We are very dog friendly, but for the sake of other campers we only permit up to 3 dogs per pitch, and none in our luxury bell tents.
We have a cafe on-site as well as a Countrystore, dogs are welcome in both, as well as the campsite.
There is a fabulous well-stocked farm shop located on the farm, less than a minute`s walk from the camping field.

Glamping: We have 2 brilliant safari tents, Robin & Wren; 2 luxury lotus bell tents, Bramble & Nettle; 2 traditional naked bell tents, Dandelion & Thistle
Nearby Attractions
Sissinghurst Castle and gardens are on our door-step as well as Great Dixter.
If castles are your thing then Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle, and Leeds Castle are all nearby.
The beaches of Camber, Hastings and Winchelsea are about 1/2 an hour drive away.
Cranbrook Town is a 20 minute walk, you will find independant eateries, boutiques and gift shops in this historic town.

Owner Directions
We are ideally situated an hour from London and an hour from Dover, yet tucked away just outside of the sleepy town of Cranbrook.
We`re easy to find! Follow directions to Charity Farm Countrystore in Cranbrook and you`ll see our blue sign on Swattenden Lane.
You`ll turn into our car park and see the shop straight ahead of you. Please go into the Countrystore and speak to a member of staff who will check you in and give you any information you will need.
