The Lethbridge family offer you a warm welcome to Damage Barton Caravan and Camping site, set in a wonderful location on the North Devon coast between Woolacombe and Ilfracombe on a 600 acre working beef and sheep farm. It offers panoramic sea views to the Welsh coast, and is perfect for coastal walking, birdwatching, wildflowers, award winning beaches, and just one mile from the village of Mortehoe.
The site has an attractive open layout of immaculately kept spacious hardstandings or grass pitches, all with seaviews. Two heated shower blocks, family bathrooms, disabled bathrooms, laundry and washing up facilities and a wetsuit washroom. There is an on-site shop, open daily and three dog exercise areas, along with a kite flying field and picnic area.
The award winning sandy beach at Woolacombe, perfect for surfing, is just two miles away and there's direct access from the site onto the South West coastal path to Lee Bay, Morte Point, Bull Point & beyond. Only a mile from Damage Barton is the Tarka Trail and old railway line to Ilfracombe which will delight cyclists. A bus stop at the site entrance has services to Mortehoe, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Braunton and Barnstaple, meaning that exploring this beautiful part of North Devon is hassle free.

A great choice of beaches for surfing/bodyboarding within 2 miles, cream teas and 3 pubs in Mortehoe only 1 mile along footpath. Fish & chips onsite on Mondays. On site shop for fresh baked croissants, Pain au Chocolat and pasties. Local attractions, NT at Arlington Court, beautiful gardens at Marwood, & Rosemoor. From M5 - leave at Junction 27, follow signs for A361 and Barnstaple. Continue on A361 to Barnstaple, Braunton, and Ilfracombe, just before Ilfracombe turn left at Mullacott Cross roundabout on to B3343 (signposted Mortehoe and Woolacombe). In approx. 2 miles turn right onto Mortehoe Station Road, signposted Mortehoe, site entrance is on this road on the right hand side in 1 mile.
NB: Sat Nav users - Very Important If you are using our postcode with your Sat Nav please note that once you have turned off the B3343 onto Mortehoe Station Road the entrance to Damage Barton is on this road. We are 1 mile along on the right hand side (the second campsite on the right along this road). Do Not turn right down Warcombe Lane or into Warcombe Farm Campsite.
