Church Stile Farm Holiday Park is a small family run camp site on a working hill farm. Set in the tiny pretty lakeland village of Nether Wasdale, surrounded by magnificent scenery well placed for climbing, walking or just enjoying the unspoiled views. Wastwater the deepest lake in England and only a mile away. The village has two Inn's, in walking distance from the site both serving bar meals, real ale and both welcome children. The site offers level camping enhanced with shrubs and tree's, a play area and ball games area. Mains water, fifteen electric hook ups (these must be pre-booked). A clean refurbished and fully fitted shower block with free showers and free hair dryers, wash basins and wc's. Also a laundry room with washer, dryer, iron (tokens) and a small freezer for camper use (free) and hot and cold drinks vending, at the rear of the laundry room and under cover are four large sinks for dishes. Low level lighting around the site and main gate, which is locked at 10.45pm to cars, the foot gate is always open. Gosforth village is only 4 miles away and has all you may need in local village shops, bakery, cafes, a free car park and a bank/cash point. Seascale is 7 miles and has a beach a good play area and a few shops, bank, plus fast food outlets and a free car park. Whitehaven 15 miles has a harbour, visitors attractions, tesco, morrisons and many more shops and cafe's.
Nearby Attractions
Muncaster Castle, The famous La'al Ratty steam railway, Eskdale Mill a working mill. Whitehven a fine Georgain town(15 miles) with the Beacon Museum with the beautiful quay walk and the Rum Story centre. Half an hours drive to the Pony Trekking Centre at Silcroft catering for all the family and Cockermouth has the Lakeland Wool Centre with many events and Wordsworth House.

Owner Directions
From the South Leave the M6 at Junction 36. Follow signs towards Barrow (A590). Before reaching Ulverston turn right onto the A5092 (signposted Whitehaven). This joins the A595. Follow north to Gosforth village. Turn right into Gosforth and follow signs to Nether Wasdale (approx 4 miles). Go past the 2 inns and Church Stile is on the left beyond the church From the North Leave the M6 at Junction 40. Take the A66 towards Cockermouth, then take the A5086 to Egremont and join the A595 southbound for a few miles. Turn left into Gosforth village and follow signs to Nether Wasdale (as above)
