Mynydd Mawr Caravan and Camping site is an established family run campsite situated near the village of Aberdaron right at the far end of the Llyn Peninsula, North West Wales.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The campsite enjoys stunning susnset and panoramic views of the coastline around Cardigan Bay and overlooks Bardsey Island.
The Llyn peninsula coastal path and the historic pilgrims route passes through the adjoining headland, ideal for walks and excellent for fishing.
On site facilities includes a cafe, which serves breakfasts, light snacks, and a selection of homemade cakes, local ice cream and refreshments.
A toilet and shower block consisting of gents, ladies and a disabled / family room with washing up area.
We have a freezer for your ice packs, electrical hook ups at an additional fee, waterpoints and a chemical disposal unit.
Campfires are allowed but must be raised off the ground in a container.
Dogs are most welcome but must be kept on a lead.
If a relaxing break is what you`re after then this is the site for you.
Nearby Attractions
Aberdaron village is approx 1.5 miles away, where you will find shops, pubs, cafes and bakery and a wonderful sandy beach. Porthor (Whistling Sands) is another popular beach.
There are several coves to enjoy. The costal path proves very popular with the walkers.
The market town of Pwllheli is 18 miles away (market held on Wednesday).
Abersoch popular for its watersports and nightlife is 12 miles away.

On entering Aberdaron village signpost take first right to Uwchmyndd and follow signs for the Sea food restaurant, once you have come to the restaurant pass first campsite, continue along the lane until you come to a white cottage on your left we are 200yds from this, the road stops with us before going onto the headland.
