The site is surrounded by woodland in a designated "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". The river, the forest and Symonds Yat are all within walking distance. A short stroll from the site and you can be in King Arthur's Cave - or sat on top of the Seven Sisters Rocks. Owner Directions
Best to follow brown tourist signs displaying campsite Doward Park Campsite, from leaving the A40. Be careful following SATNAVS/googlemaps as they can take you down very narrow lanes.
Travelling from Monmouth - turn off the A40 about 2 miles after Monmouth at exit signposted Crockers Ash, Ganarew and The Doward. Turn left at T junction. Take first right after 1/2 mile (easy to miss) next to a few houses. Follow signs up hill to Doward Park - (about 1 mile).
From Ross - take exit from A40 signposted The Doward, (just before services and just after exit for Symonds Yat West). Then turn right. After 1/2 mile turn left following signs to Doward Park (about 1 mile)
