Site opening date for 2023 will be Wed 5th April
Our campsite by the river offers you the chance of a peaceful relaxing break. There are lots of small waterfalls on this stretch of the river. We also have a field which has a panoramic view of Kisdon Hill and the valley down towards Muker. !SORRY BUT WE DO NOT TAKE ANY BOOKINGS! The site is usually fairly quiet through the week, weekends have now got busier but apart from the bank holiday periods we can usually cope. Quite a few of our campers are overnight walkers doing the Coast2Coast, Pennine Way, Herriot Way. We have a small farm teashop providing hot & cold drinks, ice creams, light refreshments, basic provisions and a very limited off licence. The site has toilets with hand washbasins (hot & cold water), showers(2)and there are washing-up but sorry no laundry facilities. Car parking area for people wanting to just leave cars overnight/a few days. Fees for the current season per night are: Walkers £9ea.(no car). Others: £12 per adult. Children(15&under)are £4.50 ea. and under 5s free.
The village has a small hotel (11 bedrooms) which is also open to the public.
Unfortunately there isnt a mobile phone signal here but you can pick up the wi-fi in the car park area.
PLEASE NOTE* The site does not take groups of young adults. It is a family/walkers orientated site and we request that the site quietens down and no music after 10.00pm - no loud music at anytime.
