South Meadows Caravan Park in Northumberland is one of the finest holiday venues for caravanning, camping and holiday homes in the North of England.
It is a friendly, family-run camping and caravan park that delivers real quality in a superb environment. Our facilities are truly high class.
We operate an ongoing programme of improvements to all aspects of our service, including our green credentials, which all helps ensure we provide quality and relaxing holiday breaks.
We welcome our touring caravan and campervan visitors. The pitches are generous with plenty of room for your car and awnings.
Our Super Pitches have power, water connection and drainage for waste water whilst the grass pitches have power, and all pitches are well drained and level.
Our recently refurbished shower block is clean, free, has family shower cubicles.|
Our younger visitors have benefit of a great play area for which is located a short distance away from the main camping area but well within the bounds of the campsite. We also have a wonderful woodland walk, recently improved with established walkways, new planting and bird boxes. It is home to red squirrels.
PODS: We have 8 of these, set in a pleasant corner of the park, each with their own sitting area, outside furniture and close to our new 5 star toilet and shower facility.
5 of the glamping Pods offer 2 double beds and 1 single, all with comfortable foam mattresses, sleeping 2 adults and up to 3 small children or 4 adults with a fully fitted kitchenette , flat screen TV, WIFI available & private outdoor sitting area with furniture. 2 of the pods offer the above with the extra benefit of a shower room. We also offer the luxury SPOD which sleeps up to 6 people including children or 4 adults, the SPOD has a dining area folding out to a double bed, lounge area again folding out to a double bed, a full kitchen and shower room all kitted out to a luxury standard, along with private decking, private picnic table and BBQ
LUXURY LODGE:
Our timber-built lodge provides more than 1,800sq ft of living space divided into en-suite double and twin bedrooms, a large fully-equipped kitchen and a light and airy living area, complete with an entertainment system and glowing log-effect gas fire.
Outside, the private garden area is equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue facilities, and parking space for two cars.
Offering plenty of room for a family of four or two couples, a holiday in the lodge includes electricity, heating, water, bedroom and bathroom linens.
Nearby Attractions
Although you will find peace and tranquility at the park you are only a few minutes walk away from
the local farm shop and restaurant, golf course, local pubs and supermarket.
Our location next to the A1 means you have not far to travel to visit our local sights and attractions.
The beautiful rural setting of South Meadows means you are never very far from North Northumberlands most popular tourist sites. The whole area is dotted with historic castles, remote hills and heritage coastline. Shown below are just a few of the most popular attractions.
