Description
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only.

We have a level grass site in the heart of the countryside . Only one and a half miles away is the village of Metheringham that boasts several pubs, restaurants and takeaways.
If getting away from it all with peace and quite is what you are looking for, then this is the place to visit. We have an abundance of wildlife, it is an Ornithologist's heaven ! The scenery is a delight to paint, and because we are on the fenside the sunsets and sunrises are stunning !
We have absolutely no light pollution so it is a stargazers delight.
We are away from busy roads and traffic fumes. There are many walks leading from the site and cyclists routes as well. Dogs are allowed on leads (We have sheep in the fields nearby) and again good long walks for dog owners. Private bookings are available in advance for the outdoor heated swimming pool situated in the village.
We allow tents, touring caravans, motor caravans and trailer tents all tents are situated on a separate site to the caravans both with lovely views of the countryside.
We are a level grassy, well sheltered site, with a washroom and flush toilet, with basin and cold water only and drinking water. We have a chemical toilet disposal point, and five electric hook ups.
Nearby Attractions
The local area promotes a 1940s weekend in Woodhall Spa just 15 minutes drive away, and the market town of Horncastle has an abundance of antique centres.
Lincolnshire is famous for the Dam busters and the Lancaster and there are museums close by promoting this. Slightly further away is the seaside town of Skegness with miles of sandy beaches .
A train station in the village provides free parking and takes only twelve minutes into the historic city centre of Lincoln. The famous Christmas market is hosted in the beautiful Cathedral area and there are an abundance of museums to choose from to visit

Owner Directions
From Lincoln take the B1188 to Sleaford, turn left onto the B1189 signposted Metheringham,
Turn off B1189 opposite fire station in Metheringham Village onto Fen Lane.
In about 1 mile along Fen Lane sharp bend to left, site at one o'clock.
Barff Farm signposted at top of lane.
