This is a very peaceful and tranquil site. The views of the Cleveland hills are stunning. It is situated very near to the North York moors.
The surrounding fields have horses, sheep and cattle and is a perfect place to watch the birds and wildlife.
On a clear night, after dark it is ideal for stargazing.
There are many walks and cycle tracks close by.
The site has electric and water.
There is a new toilet/shower block and new this year 2 more toilets and washing up fsacility installed this year.
New this year 11 glamping pods - please contact us for availability. They come with electric hot tubs, all self contained with bedding. Supplied with hob microwave and fridge too book. They are on hoseasons lodges and called southview retreat
Please note this is a quiet sight and we dont accept large groups
From the moment you arrive youll be greeted with a backdrop of rolling hills and idyllic countryside.
Nearby Attractions
The nearby village pubs offer food.
Stokesley is the nearest town with shops, pubs, restaurants and a bank! There is also a leisure/swimming pool.
It has a weekly market each Friday.
The East coast (Redcar,Marske and Saltburn) is approx a 30 minute drive and Whitby approx 1hr drive.
This site is perfect for walkers wanting to join the Cleveland Way which is two miles up to the top of Carlton Bank.
